Trumpet Causes Scare in Salt Lake City

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - A suspicious package left outside a fast-food restaurant Wednesday turned out to be a trumpet that has sounded its last note.

Someone noticed a suspicious package, and several blocks were closed down for about two hours as police investigated.

A robot detonated the case - and the fears were resolved.

"Some very alert citizens watched this package for a considerable amount of time and then they called the police thinking it didn't look right," Salt Lake City police Detective Gary Trost said.

"Gratefully enough, it was just a trumpet."

I saw Patton on television, which was fab, and rediscovered the Ernie Kovaks closing theme which was a bastardized version of George Gershwins' Rialto Ripples. I haven't seen / heard it since I was 9 years old. I remember being so proud of my Father. I thought he had the coolest job in the world. It was really tailor made to his personality.
Everybody thinks that Jack Lemmon was one of the Nairobi Trio, but it was my Dad!!!!! I miss the guy.

I'm so tired of hurting, but I just found out that an old friend might have ALS. I guess I don't hurt that bad.

I get so frustrated sometimes, it's scary. I don't think about going to the forum site, because that's just one more thing to learn how to use. But I have worked out a couple of problems that I was having, and I feel much better now! I don't have to throw the computer out of the window. I also don't have to get it all done today. There's plenty of time. And the coolest part, it is on my terms. I will succeed on my own terms. That doesn't mean that I am God, or anything like that. He is definitely driving the bus. Is anybody out there? I know my email is working now. C'mon, don't be shy!

Maybe someone out there can help me. I'm a human being in Cleveland who is 54 years old attempting to reach out to other human beings. I make sounds for fun and profit. It used to really be fun. I hope you are all fine out there, that is if anyone is out there. I hope you like my music. I plan on releasing two more albums next month. One is called Cantus Kinda Religioso and the other is called Snap Out Of That Dream. I'm going to finish them in a real studio, because my monitor died after years of service, and it's replacement died, too. (out of sympathy?) I'm tired of being the engineer, anyway. I wanna tell someone else what to do. That's always fun! Please let me know you're there.
